Christmas Assistance in the Community "The Joy of Giving"
Wow! This year is flying by and it is already time to begin planning for Christmas 2008. As the Christmas Clearinghouse gathers for the frist meeting we hope all organizations make a special effort to attend.
This is our fifth years partnering with Salvation Army, Union Way, Toys for Tots, Faith Based and Community Based organizations in Atlanta & Augusta Georgia. last year we served 267 families and 781 children.
One of the programs we provide in Newton, Rockdale and Augusta Richmond County area is our Christmas Assistance Project. We all provide toys, food & gifts to at risk families and foster children. We also provide assistant with rent and utility bills when needed.
This year’s program will be held on Monday December 22, at 6:00 p.m. We are asking for your assistance with a donation. Your donation will help use provide toys, food, gifts and personnel need items. If your company has any computers not in use, please consider giving them as a donation. We are always in need of bikes. Wal-Mart is one of our sponsors and will give a substantial discount on bikes.
We are able to provide such services because of the generosity of area businesses, organizations, Churches, and individual donations. We are a non-profit (501 (c) 3 organization. We will place your organization, company or firm on this year’s program as a sponsor and send you our bi-monthly newsletter. All donations are tax-deductible.
We thank you in advance for your compassionate and support in our efforts to help serve the families of the Newton & Rockdale county area.

Through the NBWEN Women's Fund, our desire is to award $20,000 in scholarships to deserving young ladies seeking a business degree from an accredited two- or four- year college or university, or vocational school, as well as grants to women in our community who wish to establish and grow their own business (startups in business less than 3 yrs).
Five women will each be awarded $2,500 grants, 5 women will each be awarded $1,000 scholarships, and 5 women will each be awarded $750 scholarships.

I wrote two books "From Your Dream To Nonprofit Reality" I do workshops for the City of Augusta on how to start your Non-Profit from A-Z, write grants and do fundraisers while waiting on your grant awards. I also contract other companies to do workshops for me because I do not have time always. We can work together.
