- Mildred (Missie) Shealey, is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and has lived in the Metropolitan D.C. area. She currently resides in Atlanta Georgia and has been there for the last twelve years. She attended Paine College in Augusta, GA and is a graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh.
Ms. Shealey has spent the last 23 years of her professional career as a topnotch Wardrobe Specialist for high end retailers such as St. John boutique, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Calvin Klein and Saks Fifth Avenue. She is also a contributing writer for the Onyx Woman Magazine, online.

- I have embarked on a new venture as an Independent Associate for Ignite. It is a company that is a subsidiary of Stream Energy that sells natural Gas. My hope is that all my family and friends in Georgia and Texas will assist me by visiting my web page and viewing the contents. I would love to have you as a customer. We believe in giving back to our community, "Making a Difference... Ensuring Success" and we need YOUR help!
Through the NBWEN Women's Fund, our desire is to award $20,000 in scholarships to deserving young ladies seeking a business degree from an accredited two- or four- year college or university, or vocational school, as well as grants to women in our community who wish to establish and grow their own business (startups in business less than 3 yrs).
Five women will each be awarded $2,500 grants, 5 women will each be awarded $1,000 scholarships, and 5 women will each be awarded $750 scholarships.
If you can help us with our goal of "Making a Difference... Ensuring Success", please take the opportunity to contribute in whatever amount you desire. ($1, $2, $5, $20, $100, $250, $500 or whatever you like)
