I love music because it is the only thing that gives me joy and does not complicate my life.
It is an artistic expression of love, life and lessons and I couldn't see myself doing anything other than singing, writing and inspiring.
Because I am in God's will for my life, I try not to complicate my life by thinking too much into anything.
Life is simple once you (with God's help) figure out your purpose and destiny.
Everything afterwards (i.e. business, money, and the benefits of using your talents and gifts) will begin to follow.
You will always get what you deserve based on intention, heart, and patience.
Whatever you dedicate to and nurture (if it is in your destiny) will be an added benefit to your life.
It's simple.
I never take myself to seriously and what I do to fulfill the desires of my heart (which definitely includes MUSIC) are blessings.
I haven't worked in the systematic way of life for over three months and everything that I need and want is taken care of.
And mostly because I am doing what I love to do:

- What is Your Purpose for joining NBWEN's Online Network?
- I am definitely interested in becoming a freelance writer for your magazine. For the past six months, I have been working diligently on completing a book and providing advice, knowledge, and factual-inspiring information through my blog. I write from my experiences and also what is placed in my spirit.
- What are Your expectations from joining?
- I am on a consistent journey of improving who I am (mentally, physically, spiritually, and emotionally) and this is the angle I use when I am writing. I want to be able to inspire, motivate, and service other women who may not have certain resources.
- What do You plan to contribute?
- Knowledge is vital and being a resource to others is a part of servicing. This is also what I would like to contribute to the site and magazine.

We believe in giving back to our community, "Making a Difference... Ensuring Success" and we need YOUR help!
Through the NBWEN Women's Fund, our desire is to award $20,000 in scholarships to deserving young ladies seeking a business degree from an accredited two- or four- year college or university, or vocational school, as well as grants to women in our community who wish to establish and grow their own business (startups in business less than 3 yrs).
Five women will each be awarded $2,500 grants, 5 women will each be awarded $1,000 scholarships, and 5 women will each be awarded $750 scholarships.
If you can help us with our goal of "Making a Difference... Ensuring Success", please take the opportunity to contribute in whatever amount you desire. ($1, $2, $5, $20, $100, $250, $500 or whatever you like)
