- I am a 27 year old, who has a cute son named Joseph. I also have my own business with AVON. So far I am doing okay, but I can always be doing better. I currently hold an Associates of Arts degree, and in the Fall of 09, I will be attending the University of North Texas-Dallas System for my Bachelor's in Health Care Management.

- My business is AVON! It just doesn't cater to women, but also men, and children too. I sell either online, in person, over the phone, or through email. I have different specials throughout the year, and also make gift baskets for every occasion. I also do fund-raisers for companies, schools, and organizations. I have my own website that anyone can access and shop from. I am always looking to expand my business, and have my downline of young (teenage girls age 16 and up) entrepreneurs or just women that want to work from home or have extra income.

We believe in giving back to our community, "Making a Difference... Ensuring Success" and we need YOUR help!
Through the NBWEN Women's Fund, our desire is to award $20,000 in scholarships to deserving young ladies seeking a business degree from an accredited two- or four- year college or university, or vocational school, as well as grants to women in our community who wish to establish and grow their own business (startups in business less than 3 yrs).
Five women will each be awarded $2,500 grants, 5 women will each be awarded $1,000 scholarships, and 5 women will each be awarded $750 scholarships.
If you can help us with our goal of "Making a Difference... Ensuring Success", please take the opportunity to contribute in whatever amount you desire. ($1, $2, $5, $20, $100, $250, $500 or whatever you like)
