Now Accepting ALIVE Women of the Year Nominations
We are now accepting nominations for the 2010 ALIVE Magazine Women of the Year. Nominations will be accepted until December
14, 2009 at which time the review committee will select 9 women to receive the designation of an ALIVE Magazine 2010 Woman of the Year.
Nominees must be a woman of color ages 12 and up living in the US or abroad. Nominees must be living their lives on purpose - as a business owner and/or making significant contributions in the communities.

We believe in giving back to our community, "Making a Difference... Ensuring Success" and we need YOUR help!
Through the NBWEN Women's Fund, our desire is to award $20,000 in scholarships to deserving young ladies seeking a business degree from an accredited two- or four- year college or university, or vocational school, as well as grants to women in our community who wish to establish and grow their own business (startups in business less than 3 yrs).
Five women will each be awarded $2,500 grants, 5 women will each be awarded $1,000 scholarships, and 5 women will each be awarded $750 scholarships.
If you can help us with our goal of "Making a Difference... Ensuring Success", please take the opportunity to contribute in whatever amount you desire. ($1, $2, $5, $20, $100, $250, $500 or whatever you like)
